A Foursquare church is a branch of a larger family which is the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.  The Foursquare church is more a movement than a denomination.  It began in true  Spirit led revival under the ministry  of  Aimee Semple  McPherson  in  the  early  1900's that has resulted in the establishment of thousands of churches throughout the world, with millions of believers calling themselves a part of this dynamic family.

Why do we use the term Foursquare?  It is a term that describes the four distinct aspects of Jesus' minstry that are foundational to our faith and fellowship.  They are:
